day no. 11

House Show in Sunset, SC

day no. 10

Our afternoon drive with the Daniels’ from Easley, South Carolina to Highlands, North Carolina.

day no. 9

Second day in South Carolina!
We slept in until it was time for lunch and Lauren made me a killer salad..
with every vegetable available in their house and a tasty sweet pepper dressing.
SO good.

Then we walked down the street in Lauren’s neighborhood to exhaust all of her pups’ energy.

It was the perfect day to be spent outside and so we wandered downtown Greenville.
Greenville has one of the most interestingly laid out parks, tucked away down a hill centrally located near shopping and restaurants.
There are so many beautiful views to enjoy.
The tree where Andy proposed to Lauren. aww 🙂

day no. 8

Greenville, South Carolina

day no. 7

Today we packed up the car and started our journey from Orlando to
Easley, South Carolina.
We made a quick pit stop at Daytona Beach
so I could experience the Atlantic for the first time.
It was perfect.

day no. 4 & no. 6

Friday:

It was a good day to lounge at the pool, catch some rays and read my Bible.
Praise Him.

Kim and I played a set at the youth rally that Harvest Ministries (of the Korean Presbyterian Church of Orlando) hosted.
It’s been a long time since I’ve attended a youth rally and it made me feel rather old. 😉

We were encouraged tonight to give up on our own efforts of gaining the approval and acceptance of God and instead to trust in the blood of Christ and the work that He accomplished on the cross. Our tendencies so often are to try to look good in front of others when the Lord should be the One we fear. We must examine our lives, repent and look to Christ for healing.

He is so gracious. Our lives truly are stories of God’s patience.

Sunday:

We went to church at KPCO and led worship for the English speaking service. And attended Sunday school directly afterward.
Then over twenty of us caravanned to a pizza shop.
And about three hours later it was time for a three course steak dinner at the Lee’s house.
They were so very hospitable and the food was amazing.

I was happy to try this Korean noodle dish, Neng Myun. It was delicious.

Then back to the Ye’s, our home away from home. They were fantastic hosts
and we had a really great time hanging out with everyone there.

We came home to cookies 🙂 hahaa..yes!
KC is the best.
